Nominate Your Stars! Do you know someone who is already amazing at developing high performers in your organization? Would you like to acknowledge someone for his or her contribution to you and your organization? Nominate that person for the Star Developer Award!
This is an honor that will be given on October 3, 2012. This date was selected to honor the birthday of someone who made a profoundly positive impact on my life, Elizabeth Jeffries, CPAE. To nominate someone for this award, please write a one-page letter indicating how this person impacted you and or your organization by developing high performers. (Include your name and contact information.)
Please submit your entry via email by August 31, 2012, to Shawn Kent Hayashi, Admin@TheProfessionalDevelopmentGroup.com or P.O. Box 1, Center Valley, PA 18034.
The Professional Development Group will host a dinner in honor of the winners on October 3, 2012, at the Saucon Valley Country Club, Bethlehem, PA.
Mission:
The purpose of this award is to inspire people to help others grow, learn, and become leaders. By being a mentor, manager, leader, or guide to others we develop our future leaders to be Star Performers. People who become developers of others have a commitment to creating a positive future. By awarding role models for developing others we intend to showcase what it takes to create high performing teams and collaboration as a leader.
Organizations Participating:
Organizations that are committed to developing their employees as managers, leaders and role models are participating in this award. We anticipate that organizations of any size and from diverse industries will participate. So far people from the following organizations have indicated they will be participating: American Express, Comcast, Dun & Bradstreet, Federal Reserve Bank, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, Oracle, Pearson, and Sanofi.
